Get Tired

Standard

I love resting on vacations, but resting means you miss out on excursions and seeing all the place has to offer. In the Bahamas we did a little of both! We enjoyed our beach days, but we also let ourselves get tired and saw the island we came to see! We started with an extra long trip that gave us all the things by Born Free Charters.

It had boat time and private island time.

The water was so beautiful and blue! So worth the two hour boat ride.

Later, we had snorkel time viewing a sunken ship!

We visited the Island of the Iguanas.

We ate lunch at a local spot with the best food!

We fed, learned and swam with nurse sharks…sorta!

Finally, and maybe the best part was feeding the pigs!

We were tired and burnt, but full of life knowing the pics and memories we are taking back to America. So thankful we got up from the lounge chairs and got tired!

Our hotel was incredible so when we were tired and burnt and hungry then we returned to paradise at Margaritaville Beach Resort in Bahamas!

Now we can rest on the way home!

Be the Church

Standard

One of my favorite things to do is work in the preschool at church. I get to love on babies, play with toddlers, tell little ones about Jesus and SHOW them God’s love on display. Tell each kid that Jesus knows his or her by name.

I get to give parents an hour to worship undistracted by little ones. My time with their children help ls them to feed their souls. Is it loud and crazy…oh yes. But is it important?

Nothing else matters.

The kingdom belongs to these littles. We must be careful to train up the next generation so the church carries on until He returns.

Be the church wherever you fit in using whatever gift He bestowed upon you.

It is everything right now.

Priorities

Standard

I struggle with this. I put off Bible study to put away dishes. I avoid reading his word to vacuum. I get more concerned about others being impressed with my home I stop to consider how they feel about themselves in my presence. I need to reconsider my priorities.
